Client is a growing company in need of 3 Sous Chefs to lead the culinary function in the execution of menu strategy 
at its management teams in Orlando, Florida, DC metro area, and Maryland. They get TOP Tripadvisor and Yelp reviews.
All Chefs train in Columbia MD. After training, you are sent to one of our local locations.  We are planning to open a new restaurant in Rockville, MD towards the end of December/ beginning of the year so you may end up there. However, you need to be open to location as you may be placed in our location in downtown Silver Spring, Gaitherburg, or in Glenarden, MD.  The final location is based on need after you finish training. You could also wind up in Florida.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Sous Chef job:

  • Train and manage kitchen personnel
  • Able to spot problems and solve them quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain a level head and delegate many kitchen task simultaneously
  • Maximize the productivity of kitchen staff
  • Maintain impeccable personal hygiene as well as high work and safety standards
  • Set an example for staff

Special Qualifications: The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role. To create new menu items that properly portray the concept.

Education and Experience: Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree or related culinary degree with up to two years of industry and culinary management experience. 

Salary: Competitive salary with bonus combined compensation of $45 to 55K.
