As Executive Chef, will be fully responsible for developing the reputation of the Restaurant and hotel through the production of excellent quality food throughout the hotel, and the development of a high quality kitchen brigade.
You will oversee the operational management of the kitchen and Team Members. The incumbent will need to be able to contribute to possible new concepts and manage change in order to deliver budgeted food revenues.
The Executive Chef needs to be able to network and manage relationships with key culinary organizations and personalities and have the ability to act as an ambassador for the Restaurant and culinary concept.
The Required Skill set and experience are as follows:
·Prior, experience as an Executive Chef or a high-performing Sous Chef in a high performing and revenue generating concept, required
·Ability to lead from the front and be hands on
·A creative approach to the production of high quality food
·A business focused approach to managing a hotel kitchen
·Fully up to date with current culinary trends and a market leader in concept development
·Ability to build relationships, internal and external, to the hotel and the Company
·Excellent planning and organizational skills
·Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
·A certification in management, preferred
·Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, preferred
